CONTEST IS OVER. BOTH trailers win, although we weren't to sure about why Sam used the same music in his trailer as the other one!

BOTH trailer creators will have a Hero named after them!

CHAOSPWNS and Sam Goodayle will BOTH be heroes in the game!

I would be up for it! Er... What are the chances of us seeing heroes in the game within six days?

I only ask because I feel that heroes should be represented in the trailer as a core component of gameplay. Maybe even showcased.

Heroes! Front and center! Aaaaand.... ACTION!

With the game being in Alpha, I assume that it won't be the only trailer they have. I have no sources to prove this, but I would assume that with the growing attraction they need a trailer to show off what the game has to offer in it's current state. But I may be wrong.

Alex, while I'm all up for the idea, I do think it's a bit early for an official trailer. The single most anticipated feature and game mechanic has not yet been implemented. I think you should wait until we at least get to play around with heroes a bit to get an idea of a final game feel. Just saying.

I concur; an "0.50" trailer, featuring Heroes, would make a more solid impression than an "0.40.2" trailer without the heroes.

There are reasons behind needing this trailer at this version. First and foremost, the fact that we still don't have one!

Second, heroes WILL be in, but not for another month at least, so it's a matter of weighing the good vs the bad.

In any case, the trailers will be much obliged friends!

Also, I PROMISE we will get a hero trailer out as soon as they are ready!

It hasn't. I think they need a trailer for the upcoming 0.41 release.
