"Bonjour" in French
"Salut" also works. It's a bit more casual.

Or, if you're French Canadian and Friendly

"EH, COMMENT CA VA MON GARS?" for saying hi to a guy and
"Eh, comment ca va ma belle fille?" for a girl

Both are well accentuated by being followed with "COLISE EN ESTIE, LA!"

(English canadians put the "Eh" at the end of a sentence. French Canadians will put it at the beginning. They put "la" at the end of sentences in French and "Der" at the end of Sentences in English.)
My 2 cents.

Hei - Norwegian
Not really used that much, I use "heisann"(a more jovial version of hei, means the same), others use "god dag" (good day), some use "Hallo" and yet others use other greetings. It varies :P

Jeg elsker Towns - I love Towns
Towns er gøy - Towns is fun
Min by er større enn din by! - My Town (city) is bigger than your Town! (city)

Haha yes but im from the netherlands, and there you dont have two diffrent words as "i love/i like", we just have " ik hou van" and thats translated " i love ..." so thats why i accidently asked you to translate " i love towns" instead of "i like towns"

I know this is a very old thread, but I could not let this pass.
There is a dutch translation for "I like Towns". it is: "Ik vind towns leuk".

"Saluton" (Esperanto)
"Oi" or "Olá" (Portuguese)

That means "Hi"

Now "Mi amas Towns-n" (esperanto)
"Eu amo Towns" (Portuguese)

That means "I love Towns" :D
