Townies going to get themselves killed and other stuff.

So. When I make a farm or anything concerning animals my townies run to get themselves killed by froggies or snakecrabs. Then the other townies run to pick up their bodies then they die and the vicious cycle continues. And when they come back the ghosts come and them my townies all die until there's about 3-4

Anyway to stop this?

Also another thing I want to find out is if there's a xml file with the data about my townies. d:

Try making some armor and weapons for your townies. This will increase their survival rate. To make sure you don't get ghosts, either destroy the remains of dead townies (right click) or build gravestones.
About the Froggies... well you have to kill them before they kill you, right ? Townies with wooden armor and stone weapons will have a fair chance of winning against them. You can also order them to till a large area around a froggy and cancel that order when the townies are almost there. This way your townies will move in a big group and all attack the froggy.

In many cases you do not need the full set of armor. Only stone hammers are enough to kill and Froggys toadys. Try eleven hammers, those on the list of tools, and equip the villagers with them.
Two hits with the hammer already kill. A hit to let them "slightly injured".

A few days ago I made a suggestion to add a menu to choose the behavior of the villagers. Let's wait and hope to be added.

Okay this game is infuriating. >.< After one townie died I ran to destroy the corpse but they still ran to kill themselves! Argh... I can only hope the AI gets a serious upgrade.

I actually like this behavior, and I like how buffed up the froggys and toadies are. Unless your townspeople are karate experts, they shouldn't be able to kill monsters with their bare hands. It winds up teaching the user that some activities are dangerous to do if they don't have some weapons around (and that chasing animals is one of them). You should stick to wheat and fruit if you can until you can get some weapons.

Mikiboy, when the game first starts if you are on the same side of the river as the froggies, chop some trees, make a carpentry (just the floor, don't need walls) and build a carpentry bench, then build a log bridge across the river. Tell your townies to chop/till/harvest on the other side so they cross the bridge, then delete the bridge. Make sure there is no diagonally-touching tiles on the river so that they can cross back. (add water to the shore tile to widen the river there if needed.)

Then, once you're set up and have the townies in wooden armor and stone hammers, remake the bridge and let them kill the froggies if they run across them.
