crash issue?

so im opening up towns brand new buyer im running windows vista on a laptop and i have java 6 update 30 of java and i keep getting this error as i open up towns...it gives me a white screen RITE before the SMP logo and says this



does anyone have a solution?...BTW i did update my drivers but that didnt help and it just made my computer freeze alot so i system recoverd back to before i had the driver updates

there is not a log file cuz it is an issue with java not the game itself so no log file in the towns folder

Hmmm, the computer freezes upgrading your drivers? Something wrong is there, can you try the game in a clean installation of Windows in your laptop?
