Townies don't recognize planted pear trees [SOLVED]

Townies don't recognize planted pear trees [SOLVED]

Postby RedValkyrie » Sat Apr 28, 2012 2:09 am

I added this, and thought it was fixed, but it is not. I am still having the issue. Even though I have planted pear trees on humus and the pear trees are ready to be picked, it tells me "Gather can't be built. Needs an accessible [Planted pear tree]."

Any ideas why it won't recognize the trees?

I have this too. I believe that somehow the game only counts a [planted pear tree] once; then, after being auto-harvested it doesn't count it as available anymore.

I'm going to start a new game to see if it always happens.

Yep, happens every time. They will auto-harvest each planted tree once, then no longer acknowledge it as a [planted pear tree] on its second yield.

*also I am using the updated 0.45a with the fixed barrels.

**if it helps... After all the townies have starved to death the left-hand counter on 'harvest pears' stops resetting to 0 and stays at whatever the right-hand counter is set to.

I don't know if Autoproduction works for anything planted, probably because it uses for ex: qchop instead of qchopplantedtree.

Is this patch available for download? If so, then I recently downloaded it, and they still do not want to autoharvest pears, and I still get the same error.

By the next patch I assume Supermalparit means 0.45b or later :)
