Expanded Door Controls

I was thinking about this the other day, and just saw it mentioned on another thread, but it deserves its own.

I'd like to see adjustable restrictions on doors, for example to allow passage of heroes but not townies.

This has been suggested fairly often and I believe the devs are considering implementing it in some fashion.

Yes was looking to see if this had been posted already, figured someone must have.
I would love to have

Locked to Townies
Locked to Heroes
Locked to All

You really have to be careful with how you micromanage materials at the moment, and I cant scavenge one cleared floor whilst letting the heroes clear the next, which is very irksome.

I can already think of ways i'd love to lock heroes out of certain areas of my town and areas to lock my townies out of.

In theory you can lock your heroes out of your main town area, where they will be more likely to encounter incoming sieges before your townies will, whilst also shutting your townies off from venturing into dungeons before the heroes have cleared them out.

Problem. Right now lock doors prevent mobs from going through. Would only locked to block mobs? If thats the case if mobs get through a townie only door heros can't help in fights. Ideas on how the doors would handle mobs in new settings?

i use two "elevators" a hero elevator that is blocked in the "cleared floors" and a townie elevator that is not as deep as the heros one
together with closed doors to the ite/weapo/armour/bones... stockpiles the townies rarely ran into danger

I do the same thing. also have the hero elevator dump out into a barracks. the real issue is when all my townies run into the dungeon to stockpile some item that dropped and i built stockpiles all over so need those door upgrades
