Early warning for sieges

I would love to see a warning appear one or two days before a siege arrives, so you have time to prepare. I know that the game auto-pauses for this reason, but that doesn't help if the siege arrives right near the town, or you are partway through food production and your ultimately defensive town entrance isn't finished. You would be able to do the essential preparations such as finishing defences, stockpiling food etc.

Perhaps this should require some kind of watchtower to work, with a soldier on patrol to watch out for sieges on the horizon?

Good idea :) Atleast we would be able to prepare then wiche is good. Besides if your ganna get swarmed by 20+ goblin leaders mineswell prepare for a but whooping. Or lava bomb

since sieges pause the game.. I don't see how much this would really help.. but maybe eventually it'd be useful.. when we have more defense options. (archers to the walls! ) :P

Perhaps having soldiers regularly patrol the edges of the map could either A) reduce siege frequency/severity and/or B) increase the time interval between the siege warning and enemy arrival.

The Early Siege Warning should be in the Top Right. Which is like
Log Log Siege Warning
Log Log 10%Change of Siege. (Depends of the happiness of your Townies.)

I'm still unsure how I feel about an early warning system for sieges, however I can see why some folks would want one, for example trying to convert townies into soldiers or getting them into armor and or giving them weapons. Townies are pretty much dead heads (sorry my hippie friends) when they are sleeping and or on a current task. Their focus is absolutely amazing, I wish I had their focus to have one thing in my focus and do nothing until that task is performed.

So having a early warning for sieges would at least allow the player to get more townies into armor or weaponed up. Although I think that preparing before the siege hits is always the best thing to begin with.
