They can't since the game is still in alpha and doesn't meet Steam's requirement.

Cool, I have my downloaded version on Steam anyway. My other groups don't do much, hope you guys are as active there as here and Desura.

The more people we get on it, the better we stack the deck when we finally attempt to move to steam. A hefty steam community will definitely help!

I've never quite understood the point of Steam groups, but this is an excellent point. Count me in.
