Welcome to the new saves forum. From now on, all saves should be compatible between versions. This allows you to share your saves, and this forum aims to provide a place to do so.

Releasing maps:
When releasing maps, there are a few rules.
  • Maps should be vanilla (IE: mod free), unless you specifically state which mods are used. While it may be a great map, if users cannot get the mods it will cause problems!
  • Please provide public links to the maps, no links that require signing up to another site, or require payment for access.
  • Links like Adf.ly are allowed, but should abide by the above rule

Other things to consider:
  • Work in progress maps can be posted here, as long as they have "[WIP]" in the title.
  • Please post screenshots of your map, posts without screenshots will be deleted.
  • Don't post other people's maps - just don't.

Regarding Viruses:
Whilst we will remove any maps reported to contain viruses, we do not have the means, nor the manpower to scan ever save posted. If you find an infected file, please don't hesitate to report it to a member of staff. Please remember that you are your best defence. If you download it, scan it! :)

Posting a Map
When posting, try to give a brief description, a few screenshots and download links in a logical manner.

Happy sharing! :D

A zip itself cannot, but if people are not using "Show extension of known filetypes" in Windows, a file such as "c1.zip.exe" will appear as "c1.zip". So, if you download anything from the internet, your best line of defence is to scan it. Most antiviruses integrate with windows explorer, so you can simply right click and "scan" with your antivirus. :)

Seriously, who the hell doesn't have revealed the extension of known type files?
