Hello, nice work :) .

One small question for you.
- Why I no longer have the fonction "cut" from the menu at the bottom ?

Image

Edit: Oh, and occasionally, generating a normal map can take more than 5 minutes (especially when there are many island).

I noticed that when I was messing with the modpack (before the official release). You can use the left and right half circles to scroll the menu.

That's correst use the left and right semi circles they scroll the menu, there's nothing ii can do about its length, it only displays 9 buttons at a time to see any more you have to scroll the bar (it was moved to the end of the list to allow the more common actions to be displayed by default)

Yes sometimes it can take that long to generate the map depending on the random die rolls that come up. the ocean is a very time consuming thing because its like doing a flood fill ( Flood, Water ...haha... ) of the map a 200*200*11 area. Xavi is looking at the code and is going to try and improve the map generators speed.

I am working on it , , because of some of the things i was doing in my map gen, were using things that weren't supposed to work as I was using them , at the moment 8 have no beaches or forests, also tweaking the trees so that they are in clumps similar to how they are in the original. A lot of new and changed things will be added in this release too. (no i won't go into them as there are more modders out there now and they may steal my ideas, I don't mind them copying them once I have them out there , I'd just like to be the first rather than just making my modpack a collection of others mods with one or 2 of my own. so from memory there should be at least 1 or 2 new features added when released, and maybe if I can add them in quick enough some others mods too.. that I have permission to add.. if not then they can wait till my next release). make no mistake i have been working hard to try and find other ways to implement what's been lost, but in the end those features as beaches and forests my have to wait until something can be supported).

Great. Welcome

I have some good news , after 2 days of totally going around the bend , trying tons of different ways I now have my map generator working even better , and quicker than before , yes with beaches(sand) , river banks(dirt) , mountains with snow on top(if above a certain height , and the higher they the more it goes up the denser the snow, mountains now have shore lines if they meat the water, Islands are now dirt underneath with grasses on top. Forests are back too. I've been working hard.

I should be able to release some sort of updated mod pack either tonight (my time) or tomorrow) Sorry about the delay, was having my house painted and couldn't get to my computer :( expect some huge things soon (maybe not straight away, but you'll have something)
