Watching Sips' videos always get me in the right mood to play the game - because I know I can do it so much better than him :P
He is of no equal when it comes to bringing personality and story to the game, though.

When he first started playing, I used to think that maybe he just wasn't the brightest bulb in the pack, but now I just think he puts it on for the show to make it more interesting. I mean any of us (well most of us anyway) can slap down massive farms and orchards and ensure that our Townies will be eating for weeks, but the way he goes about it with such small amounts of farms and orchards makes it so that his Townies are always on the verge of starving and ... ... It puts on a show for the audience.

I hope that he helps Towns in popularity the way that the two Brits did with Minecraft to increase it's popularity even more.

He got me here, so there's a start :)

I'm sure that as the game gets more polished, more people will become intrested in getting the game for themselves. :)

sips is quite the story teller!! And yes, I think the primary goal for video makers like Sips and myself is providing light-hearted" entertainment" while being "pro" is not nearly as important. Obviously, we want to be proficient enough with the basic mechanics so as not to frustrate the more knowledgeable viewers but most people watch us for our commentary, personality, and style. And Sips is one of the best! :)

I feel a little bit sad reading your comments on Sips's gameplay, because it's very similar to my own. I have small towns/small farms, and work my way up to big things slowly.

Also, loving all the failed quotations
