Word choice suggestions [SOLVED]

Word choice suggestions [SOLVED]

Just a couple of word choices in English which are a little odd. Totally understandable when translating.

When using a bow, you "shoot" at something, rather than "stick"ing it with the arrow.

The Taunting Trunk currently "headpunches" enemies, I think you want "headbutt". Especially as the Truck has no arms and so can't punch anything! :D

No arms? That's why he "HEADpunches!" ^.^

In all honesty though, I would be okay if that one stuck around. It is descriptive enough for the user to visualize, but quirky enough to be fun. That is just my $0.02, even if "headbutt" probably is a better translation.

I agree with you on the sticking vs. shooting thing, though. I never took the time to correlate the messages with the weapons and always figured it was from the spears.

Yes, I like "headpunches" too for the fun mental image of the Trunk punching the mobs in the head. Why bodypunch them when you can headpunch them!

Indeed, especially when the Taunting Trunk has no distinguishable head himself.

The patch notes just reminded me of another one.

"Hanged lamps" should be "hanging lamps".

"Hanged" does sound rather grim, yes. I guess you could argue that it's not technically wrong, but "hanging" would be better. While someone did hang them on the wall at some point (or mounted, arguably), the relevant part is that they're currently hanging from the wall. The word "hanged" is mostly used when referring to people who have been executed (executed by hanging, to further confuse things).
