Everyone here like Towns, for sure. But we have to admit that this fantastic game is not perfect. As the developers said, it is more a game engine than a game, and so, I may create some stuff to improve it.
The only person who did not fear when he heard the death scream of his citizens is lying ! My mod, called Enhanced Audio, changes ALL the sounds of the game. From the simple click to the mining noise, the chop one or even the death of a monster (goblin, pig, toady) are improved ! I spend the week-end to find, create, modify and convert all the sounds. So here they are !
I) Installation (all explained in the readme.txt but I write it again here)
- Extract all the files to wherever you want.
- Drag and drop all the .ogg files (Not the readme. If you copy it with the other files, it is not important, but you don't need it) to your Towns folder, then data/audio.
- Enjoy !
II) Modifications
All sounds are modified, but the mod version is still very alpha, so please comment and tell me on this topic which sounds needs to be changed.
You'll find a sound everyone knows in the game, also. (Only in 0.40.1 version)
