Glass UI 0.47 - Now with ModLoader

Glass UI 0.47a

What is it?
A mod that changes the basic UI elements including the main buttons and font. This UI mod does not change any of the other graphics or symbols. All of the images and fonts used in this are 100% free under the various public licenses.

Installation
Unzip the file over your Towns folder allowing it to replace files as needed.
Warning: As is, this mod is not compatible with any other mod that changes the above listed files!

I did not include a readme with this mod since the instructions are already right here and installation is pretty much copy replace. Please enjoy!

Can I use ModLoader?
YES!

Credit goes to Jontis_00 for creating the first ModLoader version. You can get it here. I will be sure to keep this version updated as well.

Unzip the file into your mods folder. Run modinstaller.bat. This is an advanced mod and must be installed first. This mod is not compatible with any other advanced mod that uses the files listed above including:

Wow that looks really nice :) I like that it looks a little futuristic.

To make it Modloader compatible just rename the ui.png to ADVui.png and rename the font files to ADVfontCantarell.fnt and ADVfontCantarell.png and you should be good to go.

Do I have to change the zip folder structure, or should it still mimic the original installation?

Edit: I shouldn't do this at 2 in the morning... :D

Some people make a Mods folder where they put all the files.
I just put all the files in the zip and tell people to drop them in the Mods folder.

I made a modloader version and tried installing it over a clean version. The graphics.ini changes did not take effect. There were some elements that had to be manually repositioned by editing the ini file and need to be included or the UI does not render correctly.

How do I get modloader to append those changes?

Go to ModUtils\Graphics.ini\
And edit the files needed to be edit (graphics.ini and/or graphicsUtils.ini) when done put the ADV tag in front of the name of the file i.e ADVgraphics.ini and/or ADVgraphicsUtils.ini and put them in your zip.

My attempts have produced some very strange (but incorrect results)

So I will leave this as is. If anyone wants to make a modloader version, please feel free to do so.

It looks really smexy!

It is amazing how the UI being changed gives a whole different feel to the game itself, probably since so much of the UI is open in my game most of the time.
