This mod adds dig sites, new improved mineshafts. I felt that mineshafts were very overpowered, because they just produce tons of ores for no cost at all! But that's no fun, is it?
Dig sites take up a 1x1 space, they will have to be placed on the ore just like with mineshafts. But! The citizens will have to work in the dig sites to produce ore. The dig sites also requires pickaxes to be built.
This mod adds a new strategic element to the game, you will have to trade your citizens time for ores, I guess time is really money. No more slamming down a mineshaft and there you have infinite ore!
Pickaxes can be crafted in the dig site category in the productions menu.
Dig sites can be built in the dig sites category in the right menu.
Workers in the dig sites can be assigned in the dig site category in the productions menu.
