Suppose I could that being said as long as bread is going I do not see any chance of hunger luck. I dunno I am taking a break from playing I have only played one game for a while. Well 2 if you count my first time trying to figure out things at the start which became instantly hunger locked. Can never get them to make meat pies so I dunno. I figure if I do mud as food id never have to make food, at least very little especially at the start.

In my most recent game, I just keep 10 days worth of bread per Townie in stock at any given time. I'm only up to 14/02/01 but no signs of the Townies stopping the bread production.

This code change in the OP of this topic is a good backup solution if one sees Townies start to hunger lock, then save game, insert code, start game and watch them eat mud.

But for the most part I'd rather my Townies not eat mud if I still have the ability to keep them producing food. As the person above me said, something along the lines of this code change pretty much can nullify needing to create food at all, other than perhaps in the very beginning of the game, and maybe not even then if you are fast enough to dig a hole and place a ladder.

TBH since for some reason my townies hated making meat pies I just up'd the worth of bread so they wasted less time messing with making more food so more could get done faster. Only did it due to wanting a faster game play which since I basically started when they slowed everything down and since I currently can not use the speed option in the current build.
