You are a primitive human not an insult; a forum game. [Currently dead] Note that this was the first forum game on the towns forum, I'm a trend setter. :D

PROJECT ZOMBOID

its a fun sandbox fasion game where you are in a zombie infested town.
You are not superhuman nor are you immune to the virus.
You are a regular joe trying to live in a damned world.
The game is about how you DIE, not how you lived and became OP.
Also you will die, and there is nothing to do about it.
So the point is live and enjoy being scared at every moving object.
While panicing over a cold.
Very fun its about 7$ (USA) and its a game you can replay for years.
Its still in alpha so there is lots more addons to come.
If you like zombie games you need to try this game.
its every good. and cheap xDD

Good stuff. Still needs a lot of refinement but I think they'll get there if the development team doesn't let the "hardcore" zomboid fans get in the way.

So far it was fun although if playing it, one simply must play the RC 2 version and not the version on Desura, it's got some new additions to it that make it leaps and bounds better than the version on Desura. Desura version will eventually get updated when the RC2 comes out of being a release candidate (RC). Simple but useful things like using the RMB to move around the map, better looting options etc..

Dwarf. Fortress.

So much !!FUN!! was had a while back and i was beginning to get bored of the same old things. But just recently I discovered Masterwork.

Anybody who plays it, please share your misadventures.

My encouter with water pressure.

I started off a fortress by the sea. After a while I had dug out a suitable fortress for my starting 7 and the first migrant wave. I decided to build a well in my fortress that tapped water from the river nearby. Back then i had never heard of "water pressure" in DF, so, naturally, I though it would be safe enough. The well was 3-4 z-levels below the river...
Urist McFarmer cancels plant plump helmets, interrupted my dangerous terrain.

I reclaimed later that day. Built a fortress slightly away from the old one and tried the same thing with the well. I never learn...
I really did order her to kill her husband for kicking a puppy - muffins
People make smart words here.

Reminds me of how I used to channel a hole near a river leading to a tunnel to act as a water reservoir. I would have my legendary miner dig it out then have her operate the pump to get water in the hole. Unfortunately she pumped water too fast and it flowed backwards knocking her into the river where she quickly drowned. I think this happened a few times before I decided all liquid holes should be surrounded by walls to prevent liquids from flowing everywhere.

Also there was the time I thought it would be a good idea to mine out solid blocks of ice. I needed to irrigate my crops (this was back when there was a glitch preventing you from growing crops on non-muddied soil.) If you mine out solid ice surely it will turn to water, right? Well I don't actually know the answer. All I know is that my dwarf died a horrible death of being encased in ice.

Neither of these were that bad compared to the time I accidentally channeled into a volcano. It was pretty epic having my two miners try to battle the unstoppable onslaught of lava descending down the mountain. I had a plan however. There was only one hole in the volcano where the lava was flowing from, if I could seal it the disaster could be averted. My miners started digging huge trenches along the cliff-side to divert the lava from reaching the fortress. Slowly the lava kept coming down the cliff filling trenches and oozing around. As one miner kept digging trenches to control the lava, another dug a huge multistory cave beside the volcano. The idea was to knock another hole into the volcano leading to the cave making the flow get diverted long enough to have the first hole sealed before anymore magma could reach it. This plan kind of fell apart after one of the miners couldn't get out of a pit fast enough and was consumed by lava falling on his head. The other miner wasn't even half done with the cave and lava had started to reach the valley outside.

In a great act of wisdom I decided to abandon the fortress.

project zomboid has nothing to do with TWEWY, and even less with towns... it's like comparing apples to lemons.

There's just no words to describe TWEWY. But "masterpiece" and "work of art" are a pretty acurate description.
