Fire Wands and Sips Wands not being stored [SOLVED]

Fire Wands and Sips Wands not being stored [SOLVED]

Postby Wayfaerer » Fri Jun 08, 2012 12:56 pm

Fire Wands and Sips Wands were being left behind on the map by townies despite having nothing else to do and being accounted for in storage under Weapon racks Misc. category.

Checked items.xml and both <firewand> and <sipswand> entries were missing the <stackable> and <stackablesize> values. Added these and pow kablam, wands put away all neat and tidy.

Checked further into the file and noticed <throwing rock> is also missing the <stackable> and <stackablesize> values in it's entry. Didn't have such an item on the map to confirm they are stored when stackable and stackablesize values added.

also to note it somewhere, heads still do not have storage space. You also can't seem to put a stockpile under a head which is odd..

Solved, thanks.

The heads are not stackable on pourpose.... nobody wants heads in the weapon cabinet! But you can use a pile to store it.

I tweaked the five corresponding head entries (goblinhead, hobgoblinhead, ghoulhead, trollhead & snickerhead) in items.xml so they can be stored in the decorative chests by adding these lines to each head object.

<type>decorative.outdoor</type>
<stackable>true</stackable>
<stackableSize>1</stackableSize>

It's a bit grim. But it gets them off the floor.

If you want them in raw materials barrels Return of the Living Dead style use the following tag instead of decorative.outdoor

<type>rawmaterials.materials</type>

Just be careful putting them too close to any graves.
